MOVING SERVICE
Loading & Unloading
A good load considers weight, fragility, shape, protection, destination priority, and how items will move through the truck or container.
Loading sequence
- Heavy stable items generally form the foundation of a load.
- Fragile, crushable, glass, or awkward items need protected positions.
- Items needed first at the destination should not be buried without planning.
Furniture protection
Pads, wrap, edge protection, straps, mattress protection, and securing methods should match the item and transport method.
Truck or container access
Ramp angle, vehicle height, dock access, parking distance, stairs, and property rules can change labor and equipment needs.
Unloading placement
Room labels and a furniture map reduce repeated carrying and help the crew unload efficiently.
Planning note: Actual availability, service area, insurance/licensing, prohibited items, pricing, crew size, truck size, and special-item handling must be confirmed with the operating business before scheduling.
