MOVING SERVICE
Office & Business Moving
Business relocation should reduce confusion, protect equipment, and keep departments, workstations, files, and technology organized.
Move inventory
- Desks, chairs, storage, monitors, computers, printers, network equipment, files, break-room items, stock, and specialty equipment.
- Identify leased equipment or items that another vendor must disconnect or move.
Label by destination
Use floor, department, room, desk, or employee codes so boxes and furniture arrive in the correct zone.
Technology coordination
Back up important data and plan disconnect/reconnect responsibilities. Movers should not be assumed to configure networks, servers, or specialized equipment unless explicitly contracted.
Access and downtime
Coordinate loading docks, freight elevators, building security, parking, move windows, and the order departments need to become operational.
Planning note: Actual availability, service area, insurance/licensing, prohibited items, pricing, crew size, truck size, and special-item handling must be confirmed with the operating business before scheduling.
